This blog is mostly for two people, the amazing couple we were blessed to be matched with to bring their child into this world. I always knew as this process really got started, I wanted them to have total insight into what was going in on my end. I knew it would be hard living clear across the country during the pregnancy, so I wanted them to have a way to know what their baby is doing and experiencing every step of the way.
Still, in the almost 12 months since my very first step in the whole surrogacy process, I've built around me trusted friends and family who I've needed at various stages for advice, prayer, support, and encouragement. If you have been invited to participate in this blog, it's because you are someone who has invested your care and love in me. You are a very dear friend or family member who I trust completely and who I know will be there to help and pray each step of the way for this precious child and for both of our families.
To our Intended Parents, thank you for trusting me to take care of your little one during his or her first few months, and I can't wait for you all to be a family.
To my friends and family, thank you for supporting my decision and for your constant prayer. Thank you for the special ways I know God will use each of you during this time, and for helping me see all of the ways He will use me, too.
